Since 1898, the Chautauqua Auditorium has been one of Colorado's most treasured cultural landmarks, where generations have gathered to experience extraordinary music, inspiring ideas, and unforgettable moments. Today, we are undertaking the most significant restoration in the Auditorium's 128-year history, a once-in-a-generation opportunity to preserve this beloved landmark and protect it for generations to come.
The project will strengthen the Auditorium, preserve its historic character, enhance accessibility and the visitor experience, and, for the first time ever, ensure it no longer goes dark when the summer season ends. Instead, it will come to life year-round, welcoming audiences for nearly 200 additional days of arts, culture, education, and community programming.
Thank you for your partnership and belief in this vision. Whatever gift you choose to make, you are helping shape the next chapter of the Chautauqua Auditorium!
